Choose from a host of recreational classes designed to keep you fit, active and inspired. Whether you want to study the ancient martial art of karate, learn a few vibrant dance moves, or achieve a balanced body and mind with meditation or yoga, the Club has the perfect program for you.

Cancellation Policy
- Students can participate in the first class before deciding whether or not to continue. Cancellation must be done by 9p.m. on the day of the first class. You will be billed one class fee and the remainder of the course fee is refunded.

Aikido
Kids' Aikido focuses on discipline, proper behavior and respect for others, and every class is fun. Aikido is a unique Japanese martial art with no competitions and does not require physical strength to learn. Rather, kids use natural movements to control their partners' balance and how they move. Pacific Aikido has been teaching for over 20 years, and if you have thought about introducing your child to a Japanese martial art, this is a good one to start with. Click here for more details.

All-Star Sports

Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts of America Troop 51 is sponsored by the Tokyo American Club and welcomes boys ages 11 to 18 interested in exploring outdoor Japan. Adventure, service, leadership and fun are themes of the troop's activities with monthly outings that include hiking, beach camping, backpacking, canoeing in the Japan Alps, building snow caves and climbing Mt Fuji.

Camp Discovery and Camp Discovery for Preschoolers
Camp Discovery is a summer program of weeklong sessions of sports, crafts, music, games and field trips for ages 6 to 12. The activity-packed schedule ensures that kids learn, stay active and socialize while making the most of their school holidays. Imi Krav Maga Self-Defense

Judo
Judo (literally “the way of gentleness’) is a unique martial art established in 1882 as a safer distillation of Jiu-jitsu, a method of unarmed combat among samurai warriors.
