Choose from a host of recreational classes designed to keep you fit, active and inspired. Whether you want to study the ancient martial art of karate, learn a few vibrant dance moves, or achieve a balanced body and mind with meditation or yoga, the Club has the perfect program for you.

- Register for classes online or at the Recreation Desk from Monday, March 4 at 8:30am

Cancellation Policy
- Students can participate in the first class before deciding whether or not to continue. Cancellation must be done by 9p.m. on the day of the first class. You will be billed one class fee and the remainder of the course fee is refunded.

Aikido

Kids' Aikido focuses on discipline, proper behavior and respect for others, and every class is fun. Aikido is a unique Japanese martial art with no competitions and does not require physical strength to learn. Rather, kids use natural movements to control their partners' balance and how they move. Pacific Aikido has been teaching for over 20 years, and if you have thought about introducing your child to a Japanese martial art, this is a good one to start with. Click here for more details.

All-Star Sports

Energetic youngsters ages 6 to 12 can enjoy a packed schedule of sports this summer through the Club's All-Star Sports Program. Each week participants will play a preselected combination of several of the following sports. : Soccer ,Hip-Hop , Basketball ,Badminton, Martial Arts ( Aikido, Taekwondo, and Karate) , Cheer Dance , Volleyball. Ballet & Pre-Ballet

These unique creative ballet lessons unleash kids' self expression with the help of Mother Goose and other inventive musical aids. Your child will be rewarded with grace, poise, agility and focus. Boy Scouts

The Boy Scouts of America Troop 51 is sponsored by the Tokyo American Club and welcomes boys ages 11 to 18 interested in exploring outdoor Japan. Adventure, service, leadership and fun are themes of the troop's activities with monthly outings that include hiking, beach camping, backpacking, canoeing in the Japan Alps, building snow caves and climbing Mt Fuji.

Camp Discovery and Camp Discovery for Preschoolers

Camp Discovery is a summer program of weeklong sessions of sports, crafts, music, games and field trips for ages 6 to 12. The activity-packed schedule ensures that kids learn, stay active and socialize while making the most of their school holidays. Camp Discovery for preschoolers is a summer program of weeklong sessions of coloring, song and dance, team-based sports and arts and crafts for ages 3 through 5.

I Can Tumbling

Imi Krav Maga Self-Defense

A simple form of hand-to-hand combat developed by Hungarian Jew Imi Lichtenfeld in the 1930s, krav maga is used by military units and law enforcement agencies around the world. Judo

Judo (literally “the way of gentleness’) is a unique martial art established in 1882 as a safer distillation of Jiu-jitsu, a method of unarmed combat among samurai warriors. Techniques include throwing, hold downs and, as proficiency progresses, choking and joint locking.
