Fitness is always more enjoyable with like-minded partners, so instead of hitting the treadmill solo yet again, make the most of your exercise regimen with one of these dynamic group sports on tap at the Club. Participants meet regularly to blaze through calories, indulge in high-spirited competition and get to know a great circle of people along the way.


Basketball
Hone your hoop skills and get pumped up for the workday during small, friendly on-court contests. Most players are in the intermediate-to-advanced skill range.Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. Weekend or evening games are possible if enough participants express interest.

Running
Lace up your sneakers and savor energizing lopes around the city, explore the charms of new neighborhoods and make plenty of companions with biweekly group runs.

 

Meets Wednesday and Friday mornings. Times, routes and distances vary according to runners' schedules.

Volleyball
Intermediate to advanced-level players of all ages convene on the court for a few rounds of robust yet social competition. Work up a solid sweat and savor the infectious thrill of long rallies with other equally enthusiastic players.

 

Meets Sundays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm and Thursdays from 8:15 to 10 pm. Players typically head to Traders' Bar following the Thursday matches for dinner and drinks.
