HSBC Tokyo Sevens 2012
Started as the IRB Sevens World Series in 1999/2000 season, the HSBC Sevens World Series is a premier international circuit of Rugby Sevens. This is HSBC’s second season as title sponsor, and the Series has now expanded to nine cities in five continents. It is the first time that the Series tournament is held in Tokyo for 11 years. Participating national Sevens teams compete for World Series points at each tournament. A HSBC Sevens World Series champions will be decided based on total points accumulated through nine rounds.
